Web Check-in

You can check-in through Air India website www.airindia.in and make selection of your seat on- line and print boarding pass at the convenience of your office or residence. If you have baggage to deposit, you are requested to report sufficiently in advance before check-in closure at airports.

Kiosk Check-in

Self Service check-in Kiosks are available at some airports to enable you to check-in yourself and obtain boarding pass from the Kiosk machine. This facility is presently available for purely domestic flights. If you have baggage to deposit, please contact Air India check-in agent before check-in closure at airport.
Effective 10th May kiosk check in will not be available on all Alliance Air (AI 9000 series) flights till further notice.

City Check-in

City Booking Offices in select metro cities offer City check-in facility to passengers holding confirmed booking and travelling with hand baggage only.

Additionally, at Delhi, City Check-in facility / Baggage drop at some stations on the Airport Metro Express Line has also been introduced.

Mobile Check-in

Download the Air India Mobile App from App Store for Iphone and Google Play for Android phone from your mobile handset and you will not only be able to check-in for your flight , but also choose the seat of your choice, check time table information and access Air India contact centre information.
You can check-in on all Air India flights (domestic as well as International) that you are booked on, except for Code Share flights and all Alliance Air (AI 9000 series) flights.

Please collect your boarding pass printout from Air India check-in counters at the airport.

Check in Counter Closure Timing at Indian Airports

For domestic flights, counter closing time is 45 minutes (60 minutes for Domestic leg of International flight) before departure.

Counters for flights (both Domestic and International) operating from International Terminal close 60 minutes before departure of flight.

For domestic leg of the International flights operating from the International Wing of Terminal 3 at Delhi IGI Airport, counters will close 60 minutes prior departure.

Passengers are advised to report at the check in counters well in time.

Departing from Leh/Srinagar/Jammu Airports : 120 Minutes Before Departure
